1974 saw King Crimson staring into the abyss. This emotionally driven single was originally written, by bassist John Wetton, for the album Starless and Bible Black; after being declined by Fripp and Bruford at that time it was revived with alterations and recorded for the Red album. Our live performances include the extended instrumental section built on the Bill Bruford bass rift, with our Kizzy giving it lots of Sax appeal!
